RAPID NeuroFascial Reset (NFR)

RAPID NeuroFascial Reset (RNFR) is neurologically based technique. Meaning it is focused on the central nervous system (the brain, the spinal cord, and major nerves). It helps to alleviate tension and restrictions within muscles, fascia, nerves, and ligaments by actively manipulating soft tissue. Clients who seek out RAPID are typically looking for relief from a specific condition affecting the soft tissue, such as:

Headaches, Migraines, Whiplash, shoulder pain, back pain, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, Shin Splints, Sciatica, Plantar Fasciitis, knee problems, Tennis elbow, Golfer's elbow, Temporomandibular Joint Dysfunction(TMJD), Frozen shoulder, Bursitis, Bunions, tendonitis, scar tissue from old injuries or surgery, and Arthritic Joints.

RAPID can play a major role in restoring function, and relieving pain within the body. Because it is targeting the central nervous system it aims to detect and correct the neurological source of the issue, not the presenting symptoms.

+ What should I wear for a RAPID session?

Come prepared to your RAPID appointment with clothes you can move freely in. We recommend you wear loose, stretchy clothing. You will be clothed during the treatment, so you will want to wear something that you can move and stretch in, something you would wear to the gym!

+ What should I expect in a RAPID treatment?

During your appointment your therapist will ask you for a detailed health history such as past surgeries and procedures, specific traumas, injuries, medical conditions and about your lifestyle. These details will help determine where the soft tissue damage may be present, and why it’s causing discomfort. Your therapist will then palpate the tissue looking for areas that may be hypersensitive. These areas are treated by combining precisely directed depth and tension with very specific client movements. This stimulates the central nervous system, which then gives the body signals to release tension in the area. Please note that you may experience discomfort or pain during your RNFR treatment. This is normal and can be expected. Some soreness may extend to the day after the treatment. But a restoration of mobility and range of motion, and sense of relief can be expected in the following days.
