+ WIll a Nutritionist create me a meal plan?
No. Nutrition counselling focuses on modifying your diet to enhance your overall health. While food plays a central role, it is not simply about being told what to eat. Instead, it's a collabrative and personalized journey to develop healthy habits and create a sustainable eting approach that supports your well-being.
+ WIll a Nutritionist make me give up my favourite foods?
No, you do not have to give up your favourite treats like chips and ice cream. While your Nutrtionist probably won't suggest eating them all day, everyday, cutting them out 100% won't lead to a sustainable way of eating. Instead, you will learn how to prioritze nutritious, nourishing foods thata support your body while still making room for the foods you enjoy.
+ Is Nutrition Counselling covered by my insurance?
Dietitian services can typically be direct billed through most insurance companies. However, we recommend checking your coverage, as some companies may have exceptions. While we will do our best to direct bill, please be prepared to pay upfront and submit a claim yourself if direct billing is not available. We can not direct bill to The Cooperators, Nexgen or Sulife
