Massage Therapy
At Bloom Therapy we cater our massage treatments to your needs. While we offer specific types of massages such as Relaxation, Deep Tissue, and Sports massage, we will typically blend our techniques to fit your unique treatment plan. Our massage therapists are well trained in relaxation massage, but we are not a spa. Our focus is on working through pain points and restrictions, and we love working with clients who are committed to improving their wellbeing.
We also offer Child, Prenatal, Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD), Jade Stone/Hot Stone, Indian Head Massage, Myofascial Decompression (MFD), Cupping and TMJ (jaw dysfunction) Massage.
+ Do I wear clothes for a massage?
Your massage therapist can work around your comfort level, from completely clothed to completed unclothed. Keep in mind if you decide to keep your clothes on completely we may not be able to access muscles quite as well. You will always be draped with a sheet, which will be folded back securely only when we are working on that specific area.
+ Do I need to talk during my massage?
Your massage is your time. If you want to have conversation you are welcome to chat with your RMT. If you prefer a quiet treatment do not feel obligated to carry on a conversation. In fact, we will not be offended if you come in and say "I would really like to enjoy some quiet time today during my treatment, I would prefer to keep talking to a minimum". Your practitioner will always check in with you throughout the treatment to ensure you are comfortable.
+ Do I need to shave my legs for a massage?
No, of course not! We hear it so often in the treatment room "I'm so sorry I didn't shave my legs". It is truly ok. It doesn't bother us at all.
