ANdrea Veldkamp, RMT
2200 HOURS - DIRECT BILLING
Born in Edmonton and raised in St Albert, I grew up outside and played as many sports as I could, whether competitive or pick-up. In my spare time, I could be found with my family, reading, camping or fishing. I planned on being an RMT ever since I was ten, when a family member had told me that I would make a great Massage Therapist.
I graduated from MH Vicars School of Massage Therapy (2200hrs) in 2004, and added to my training with courses in Sports Therapy and Pre/Post Natal Massage. I have spent the last 20 years in a variety of environments; from multidisciplinary clinics to dedicated sports team therapist to travelling RMT. My special passion is sports therapy and helping athletes with optimal performance.
I love continued learning about anatomy and “nerding out” with my sister about new information we’ve learned about the incredible human body. My priority with all my patients is respect, progress, and a common goal towards optimal health. Outside of work, you can find my homeschooling my children, talking “shop” with my husband, listening to yet another book (Audible=Life), or living the van life by driving my kids to violin, band, quizzing, skiing, or on yet another cross-country road trip.
